The earlier, the better (especially for popular destinations or busy travel seasons). For custom trips or cruises, at least 4–6 months ahead is ideal. That said, if you're working with a shorter timeline or just need a hotel, reach out anytime and we can let you know what's possible.

In most cases, yes. When we book your stay through Bellara, you’ll still earn hotel loyalty points just as you would when booking directly. You can also typically enjoy any elite status benefits you already have with that hotel brand.

That’s absolutely fine! Simply send us a note at connect@bellaratravel.co, and we’ll arrange a “takeover booking.” If eligible, we’ll become the agent of record - giving you access to exclusive perks like room upgrades, daily breakfast, resort credits, and more. There’s no added cost to you, just elevated benefits and our signature touch of effortless luxury.

We do not handle flight bookings directly. In our experience, it’s often more efficient and flexible for travelers to book flights themselves - this way, if any changes or disruptions occur, you can work directly with the airline rather than navigating updates through your travel advisor.

Air travel guidance is a feature of our higher-level advisory packages (tier 3 and above). For these packages, we are happy to help behind the scenes by providing guidance on recommended routes, airlines, and timing to ensure your flights align perfectly with your itinerary. 

We generally don’t book Airbnb properties, as we can’t confidently vouch for the quality or service of individually managed homes. However, we do work with a select handful of VRBO properties that meet our elevated standards.

If you're looking for accommodations with shared spaces (like a living room or kitchen), we’ll work with our trusted partners to find vetted villas, apartments, or hotels that offer a similar experience, with the elevated standards we stand behind.
